Experience effortless marine adventures with the Bug Busters Companionway Insect Screen. This unique bug screen offers a simple solution against mosquitos and no-see bugs. It conveniently ties to handrails and extends to the cockpit floor, requiring no velcro or frame. Designed for easy cockpit access, it allows a full companionway opening.
Crafted from 100% military-spec, flame-retardant polyester mesh, this screen ensures durability and safety. It also features lead ballasting, which won’t impact your compass reading. With easy installation by attaching to handrails with built-in ties, it’s user-friendly and practical.
The bug screen fits neatly into a 44″ long x 38″ wide space and stows in a robust plastic carrying case. To ensure the right fit, add 3 inches to the maximum inside companionway measurement on each side and the top. For example, a 30″ x 68″ inside opening would require a 36″ x 72″ screen.
Notably, the screen has a tapered shape, with tapering beginning halfway along the length for standard sizes, and at 26 inches for the 44 x 38 screen. Enjoy a bug-free boating experience with the Bug Busters Companionway Insect Screen.
